This machine uses high-power IGBT inverter power supply technology (AC-DC-AC-DC) to convert the mains electricity into a low-voltage, high-current DC power supply to meet the welding power supply conditions we need. Then, through microcomputer technology, the welding time is precisely controlled so that the converted electric energy is released between the tungsten electrode and the workpiece in the form of a pulse arc in an instant. The extremely high temperature arc causes the workpiece and the welding wire composed of metal materials to melt quickly and fuse together to achieve the purpose of welding repair.
The characteristics of this welding repair method are: very short time and very low heat generation. This welding machine can complete the welding process of welding wire and workpiece within tens of milliseconds. Compared with ordinary welding machines (more than a few seconds), the heat transferred to the workpiece is much less. Therefore, for the workpiece matrix, the heat is less, and the temperature rise of the material outside the welding point is small, and annealing, discoloration, and deformation will not occur. Since the volume of the molten pool generated by each welding pulse is less than 2mm3, the stress formed is also small. Although a welding repair requires many molten pools to be combined, the stress direction of the welding point is dispersed, and the concentrated stress on the workpiece is small, so the deformation of the workpiece after welding is small.
Due to the advanced IGBT technology of this machine, the output pulse energy is very concentrated, so copper and aluminum that are difficult to handle with ordinary welding machines can also be welded.
